Bāb 43: باب كَيْفَ يُبَايِعُ الإِمَامُ النَّاسَ— How do the people give the Bai'a to the Imam
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمٌ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِسَلَمَةَ عَلَى أَىِّ شَىْءٍ بَايَعْتُمُ النَّبِيَّ يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ قَالَ عَلَى الْمَوْتِ.
Yazīd Ibn Abī ‘Ubaid berichtete: ”Ich fragte Salama: »Für was habt ihr dem Propheten, Allāhs Segen und Friede auf ihm, am Tage der Ḥudaibyya den Treueid geleistet?« Er sagte: »Für den Tod!«“
