Bāb 44: (42) باب كَمِ التَّعْزِيرُ وَالأَدَبُ— What punishment may be inflicted on the person so that they may not commit the same sin again, or so that they may learn good manners
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ جَابِرٍ، عَمَّنْ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ قَالَ " لاَ عُقُوبَةَ فَوْقَ عَشْرِ ضَرَبَاتٍ إِلاَّ فِي حَدٍّ مِنْ حُدُودِ اللَّهِ ".
