حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ حَفِظْنَاهُ مِنَ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ  قَالَ ‏"‏ أَسْرِعُوا بِالْجِنَازَةِ، فَإِنْ تَكُ صَالِحَةً فَخَيْرٌ تُقَدِّمُونَهَا ‏{‏إِلَيْهِ‏}‏، وَإِنْ يَكُ سِوَى ذَلِكَ فَشَرٌّ تَضَعُونَهُ عَنْ رِقَابِكُمْ ‏"‏‏.‏

Abū Huraira, Allāhs Wohlgefallen auf ihm, berichtete, dass der Prophet, Allāhs Segen und Friede auf ihm, sagte: ”Zieht zügig mit der Totenbahre voran; denn, wenn es sich um einen guten (Toten) handelt, so leistet ihr ihm damit etwas Gutes; und wenn es sich um das Gegenteil handelt, so setzt ihr ein Übel von euren Nacken ab.“
